Hi, I’m Gavin Jones. I’ve spent 40 years in the wine industry, including 25 years with Jebsen Group in Asia, where I served as Managing Director of Jebsen Fine Wines, and later as CEO of JamesSuckling.com, a leading global wine media and events company.
Over that time I saw the same thing again and again: so many people want to enjoy wine more, but feel intimidated by the snobbery and unnecessary complexity.
So I decided to create something different — Winexel: a place that makes understanding wine simple, approachable, and genuinely enjoyable.
Together with a small, dedicated team and wonderful collaborators, we’re building practical courses, helpful tools, and friendly content that help everyday wine lovers gain real confidence and enjoyment in every glass.
